ABJ Community Services is a non-for-profit community based organization that provides an array of services in and out of the South Shore Community. ABJ's mission is to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of children, families, and senior citizens by offering comprehensive health and human services. At ABJ we believe in maximizing current resources and expanding access to services in the communities that we serve. The STD and Pregnancy case rates among African Americans and Hispanics are the highest among all racial/ethnic groups in Illinois. ABJ will partner with the Chicago public schools, Catholic Schools, Churches, Teen REACH programs and other organizations to provided a comprehensive program designed to prevent teen pregnancies and reduce the high rate of STDs and school drop out as a result of pregnancies.
