Boone County\'s abstinence program seeks to initiate dialogue among stakeholders concerning the root contributing factors leading to sexual activity outside of marriage. The program reaches out to youth in grades 6-9 in 2 local public school districts in Boone County, utilizing abstinence and character education curricula.
