The Lake County Health Department's Educational Achievement Supports Abstinence Project (EASA) provides youth with education on the physical, emotional, mental, and social benefits of abstinence, individualized academic goal planning, after-school tutoring and mentoring, individual counseling and academic case management, and information on postsecondary education resources. Parent education is also available. Services are provided to youth in Lake County through partner programs with the Waukegan School District #60, the St. Dismas Parish-Youth Formation Program, and the Big Borthers and Big Sisters Program.
