The Southwest Parents Committee is a non-sectarian, bilingual group of medical and educational professionals who have been presenting the abstinence message to young people in Chicago public and private schools since 1989. Serving students in over 300 schools since its founding, Southwest Parents offers two one-hour session presentations for the classroom. SWPC also offers Parent Power! Workshops to schools, faith-based groups, and community groups to empower parents with information, encouragement, and communication skills in raising their children.
